Responsibilities
Assist doctors during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization protocols
Take digital radiographs, intraoral images and Scans
Assist with patient examinations and treatment planning
Provide exceptional patient care and education
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Manage instruments, supplies, and operatory organization
Support a seamless patient experience from check-in to treatment completion
Collaborate with doctors, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications
Dental assisting experience preferred
X-ray certification required (or ability to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Artisan Dental is seeking a Traveling Dental Assistant to support our growing network of offices. This unique opportunity is ideal for a seasoned dental professional who enjoys variety, thrives in different environments, and wants to be part of a collaborative team across multiple locations.

The position will have a primary home office location, with travel support provided to our other practices as needed. Most weeks will consist of 4–5 days with occasional travel to support clinical operations throughout our organization.
