Job Description
Dual Role: Dental Assistant & Treatment Coordinator
We are a high-touch private periodontal practice seeking an exceptional team member who thrives in both patient care and patient communication. This hybrid role is ideal for someone with strong dental assisting skills who also enjoys building relationships, guiding patients through treatment, and creating an outstanding patient experience.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 6:30am–3:30pm
Friday: 6:30am–2:30pm

Responsibilities
Clinical
Assist the periodontist during surgical and non-surgical procedures
Support consultations and post-operative visits
Take diagnostic radiographs and intraoral photos
Maintain sterilization protocols and operatory readiness
Ensure patient comfort, safety, and education throughout treatment
Treatment Coordination
Present treatment plans with clarity and compassion
Review fees, financing, and scheduling options
Follow up with unscheduled treatment
Coordinate communication between patients and the clinical team
Help create a smooth, organized, high-level patient experience
Qualifications
Dental Assistant experience required
Certified Dental Assistant preferred but not required
We can train the treatment coordination and case presentation side of the role; however, strong assisting skills and a genuine passion for patient engagement are essential
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional, patient-first demeanor
Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software experience preferred
