Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Perform infection control procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems like Epic
Requirements:
- 2 years dental assisting w/ ability to perform intraoral scanning
- Proficiency in dental procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with medical imaging and dental x-ray equipment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
- Basic understanding of vital signs monitoring
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
