We are searching for someone who can do the following:
Strong hands-on experience assisting with dental surgeries, particularly full arch implants
Familiarity with the restorative side of full arch cases
Capturing and organizing dental photographs
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Work in a completely digital dental office using the latest digital technology in dentistry
Comfortable using intraoral scanners (Trios 5) and Photogrammetry ICAM 4D to record implant positions
Get comfortable assisting on and providing an array of dental implant procedures including tooth extraction, single implant placement, and full mouth implant placement
Set up treatment rooms with instruments, equipment and dental materials needed. Must be knowledgeable of the instruments and materials used in surgical, implant, and restorative dentistry
Sterilize instruments according to regulations. Put instruments away in their proper location in the office
Assist the dentist during IV Sedation, surgery, and restorative procedures
Complete lab tasks as instructed which include milling / 3D printing models and restorations, organizing lab cases, processing restorations / dental prosthetics.

Complete chairside scanning using the latest dental Intraoral Scanners
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental operatories clean and well-stocked
Clean and restock treatment rooms
Participate in team training and daily huddles
Utilize office software, Open Dental, Apteryx
Maintain accurate patient records and complete daily chart notes
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
There may be occasions when a 6:30 AM start time is required with notice.

Please note that this position will require travel between our two office locations. The secondary office is located in the 85741 zip code. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between both locations as needed are required for this role
Skills/ Certifications
X-ray Certified
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
