Job Description
Job Title: Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) - Full-Time
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate, and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient patient flow, supporting our dentists and hygienist, and making every patient feel at ease. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care: Greet and seat patients comfortably, prepare them for dental procedures, and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, surgical, endodontic, and prosthodontic treatments. Anticipate the dentist's needs and pass instruments efficiently.
Sterilization & Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to all OSHA and CDC sterilization and infection control guidelines for instruments and operatories.
Radiography and Intraoral Photos: Take and process high-quality digital X-rays (intraoral, panoramic, etc.).
Charting & Documentation: Accurately record patient information, treatment plans, and notes in dental software.
Room Setup & Breakdown: Prepare and clean operatories before and after each patient appointment.
Inventory Management: Monitor and manage dental supply inventory, ensuring all necessary materials are stocked and ordered.
Patient Education: Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
Laboratory Duties: Pour and trim models, prepare custom trays, and send/receive lab cases as needed.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dentist, front office staff, and other team members to ensure seamless patient care and a productive office environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program preferred.
Current Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license/registration in Oklahoma
Current CPR certification.
Experience as a Dental Assistant preferred, but highly motivated new graduates will be considered.
Proficiency with dental practice management software
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliant).
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
