Dental Assistant

Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
Ensure patient comfort and address their concerns throughout appointments
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, checking in patients, and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment at all times
Skills
Proficiency with dental software such as Maxident is highly desirable
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques and infection control standards
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience or training in dental assisting is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
