Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting our dental team in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires an understanding of dental procedures, terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and patient follow-ups to ensure optimal patient flow.
Support the dental team with administrative tasks as needed, including inventory management of dental supplies.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred
Familiarity and willingness to learn dental terminology is essential.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
