Work schedule Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:45 am - 3:15 pm & Wednesday 7:45 am- 5:15 pm and usually one Friday per month 7:45 am - 12:15 pm
Responsibilities
Welcome clients and prepare them for treatment
Select and set up instruments, equipment and materials needed
Instrument sterilization
Chairside assisting for various procedures like: composites, oral surgery, cosmetics
Send lab cases
Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Properly disinfect operatory and stock materials
Enter treatment through Dentrix
Maintain accurate patient records
Take proper radiographs
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Ability to perform basic, routine assisting techniques
Basic knowledge of practice management software (Dentrix)
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Routine Procedures
Full mouth rehabilitation: crowns, nightguards, occlusion therapy
Oral surgery: extractions, PRP, grafting, membrane placement, implants
Endodontics
Cosmetic procedures
Implant supported dentures
Orthodontic aligner therapy
Composite restorations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 36.0 per week
