Dental Assistant

Private dental office in the city of Whittier seeking a friendly, cheerful, self-modivated part-time dental assistant with a positive attitude and is a team player. Must be available to work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 8:45AM-12:45PM. More hours available upon schedule needs.

Must be:

- organized, punctual and neat

- good at multi-tasking

- pays attention to details

- Must be able to assist in dental procedures and perform 4 handed dentistry

- Prepares treatment rooms, instruments and tray setups for dental procedures.

- Must be able to take proper diagnostic x-rays

- Prepare and break down rooms

- Maintain dental equipment & supplies

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment (maintain proper infection protocol)

- Competent with Dexis & Dentrix software is a plus

- 2+ years experience required, but teachable attitude is considered

- Certified Dental Assistant -Required

- X-ray License - Required

- Compensation based on experience
