Orthodontic Assistant – Grow Your Career in a Positive, Professional Office!
Locations: Pike Creek, Fairfax, and Dover
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday – Thursday, some Fridays (36 hours)
We’re looking for a motivated orthodontic assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves making patients smile every day. Join 302 Orthodontics, where teamwork, professionalism, and a supportive, family-style culture help you grow your skills and your career!
What You’ll Do:
Assist our orthodontists during procedures, including braces adjustments, fitting braces, dental impressions and taking X-rays
Educate patients on caring for their smiles and orthodontic appliances
Sterilize instruments according to OSHA standards
Keep the clinical area clean, organized, and efficient
Support a positive, collaborative team environment
What We’re Looking For:
Dental or orthodontic experience preferred
High school diploma required; dental records experience or certification a plus
Current Delaware X-Ray Certification preferred — if you don’t have one, we’ll provide study materials and pay for your exam!
Strong computer skills and knowledge of dental terminology
Dependable, professional, and compassionate
Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude
Eager to learn and grow within our practice
