Dental Assistant with Imaging and Software Expertise

Job Summary
We are seeking a to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists in delivering efficient, high-quality dental treatment while maintaining exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures

- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments

- Take dental X-rays and images

- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care

- Maintain accurate patient records

- Schedule patient follow-up appointments

- Manage inventory of dental supplies
Skills

- Proficiency in using 3D scanners for dental imaging

- Knowledge of medical imaging techniques

- Experience with dental software such as Open Dental

- Ability to take dental X-rays and properly position/label for accurate record keeping

- Understanding of endodontic procedures and implant

- Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA regulations

- Strong background in dental assisting techniques

- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques
