Job Description
Job description
We are searching for a team oriented and personable dental assistant open to working 3-4 days per week (22-32 hours - may vary) . No weekends or Wednesdays; hours/schedule to be discussed at interview.
We would be happy to train a motivated new graduate of a Dental Assisting program if he or she matches our other requirements. Someone experienced in the field who is interested in a less than full-time schedule might also find this a good opportunity. X-ray certification will be required. Starting compensation is dependent on your skill/experience level at hire, as well as the schedule flexibility you can offer.
In our small (2 dentist) office, we focus on quality and always doing what is best for the patient, NOT chasing production goals. We are a high tech office and work hard, but the office has a reasonable work pace and a welcoming (not corporate) feel. If you are passionate about working in the dental field, get along well with co-workers, truly care about patients and putting them at ease, and are comfortable working in a dental office that employs a great deal of digital technology, we’d like to hear from you.
In addition to chair-side assisting with a variety of procedures (CEREC and other conventional restorations, endodontics, orthodontics), this is a job that will include room set up and cleaning, restocking, instrument sterilization and scheduling appointments as needed. If you would enjoy working as part of a dedicated, extremely low turn-over, high-functioning team who really like and support each other, and you are willing to pitch in wherever needed, you may be the dental assistant we need to round out our team.
As well as forwarding your resume, please send a brief email to chapmanworthington@gmail.com outlining how your education/experience, interest in teamwork and attitude toward patients (as well as your scheduling availability) make you a good match for the job described.
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Benefits:
Paid time off
Application Question(s):
Have you successfully completed a Dental Assisting program?
Education:
High school or equivalent (Required)
License/Certification:

Ability to Commute:
Worthington, OH 43085 (Required)
Work Location: In person
