Job Description
Overview
Hoekwater Family Dentistry is looking to hire Experienced Dental Assistant ! We are hiring part time , 2-3 days a week. New grads welcome to apply.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, infection control protocols are strictly followed.
Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, and prosthodontic work. 3D scanning for lab work.
Take and develop dental X-rays using advanced equipment such as 3D scanners
Manage patient records accurately within Dentrix being HIPAA compliant at all times.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control standards and sterilization procedures.
Experience
Must have experience working in a dental clinic setting with familiarity in general dentistry.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, to effectively assist during procedures.
Proficiency with Dentrix records and coding procedures accurately.
Hands-on experience with X-ray techniques, and 3D scanners is highly desirable.
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently in four-handed dentistry setups to optimize workflow.
Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique and sterilization methods to ensure patient safety.
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
