Dental Assistant (X-Ray Certified)

We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate is X-ray certified in Maryland, possesses excellent chairside manner, and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Schedule
Monday – Thursday: 8:00AM – 5:00 PM
One Friday per month: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Qualifications & Skills
Strong knowledge of General dentistry and dental terminology
Maryland X-ray certification required
Experience with iTero scanner required
Proficiency in four-handed dentistry
Ability to take high-quality dental impressions
Skilled in fabricating temporary crowns and bridges
Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
Experience with charting during dental examinations
Familiarity with OpenDental software is a plus
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused demeanor
Willingness to cross-train for front office responsibilities as needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with Maryland regulations
Perform accurate charting and maintain patient records
Sterilize and maintain instruments and the sterilization area
Set up and break down operatories efficiently
Assist with inventory and supply management
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
Support patient education by assisting with treatment plan presentation and explanation
Ensure a positive and comfortable patient experience throughout treatment

Pay: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour
