Dental Assisting Instructor Team Needed (Part-Time)
Location: Apex, NC (Hosted at Apex Dental Group)
We're excited to expand to Apex and are looking for enthusiastic Dental Assisting Instructors to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced dental assistants who are passionate about mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. If you're looking to earn extra income while keeping your full-time position, this flexible, part-time role may be the perfect fit.
Schedule:
Clinical instruction on Fridays and/or Saturdays only
Three 10-week semesters per year

Responsibilities
As a Dental Assisting Instructor, you will:
Prepare for each class by reviewing clinic stations and lesson objectives.
Set up the dental office and clinical stations prior to class.
Facilitate hands-on clinical instruction using established class checklists and curriculum.
Create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
Record attendance, grades, and student evaluations in the learning management system.
Manage classroom activities and promote professionalism and student success.
Qualifications
High school diploma or college degree
Dental Assistant Certificate
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Dental Assistant
Current CPR certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive, energetic, and caring attitude
Passion for helping students learn and succeed
