Established in 2005 in the Rosedale community, our modern office features an iTero scanner, digital radiography and chairside televisions to enhance patient comfort and engagement. There has been continued reinvestment in the practice and recently undergone a full renovation. We have grown simply by referrals over the last 20 years and our primary goal is patient education.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry, with experience in all aspects of dentistry. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care while working in a supportive and technologically advanced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental examinations, including patient assessment and diagnosis using medical imaging and dental terminology.
Provide a wide range of dental treatments.
Utilize Dentrix for documentation and medical records management.
Maintain strict infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral health, treatment options, and preventive care while fostering a positive patient experience.
Collaborate with team members to deliver four-handed dentistry efficiently and effectively.
Keep up-to-date with current practices within dentistry to provide the highest standard of care.
Requirements
Valid dental license with eligibility to practice in the state.
Proven (minimum 2 years) experience in general dentistry with a strong foundation in restorative dentistry.
Familiarity in pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and prosthodontics.
Solid references from previous places of employment in the dental field.
Proficiency with dental office management software such as Dentrix.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, infection control procedures, and medical documentation standards.
Experience working in a dental clinic or office environment is highly preferred.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to assess patient needs accurately and communicate effectively.

About Sweta Tailor DDS PLLC
We are a general dental office offering services for the whole family. Established in 2005 in the Rosedale community in central Austin, we are going on 11 years. We are electronic, take digital radiographs and have chair side TVs for all our patients.
