Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Dental Associate to join our growing practice in South Bend, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for a doctor who is looking for a supportive environment, a strong patient base, and the ability to continue developing clinically while providing high-quality care.
Our practice is focused on creating a positive experience for both patients and team members. The incoming associate will have the opportunity to provide comprehensive general dentistry, work alongside an experienced team, and build lasting relationships within the community.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive general dental care, including exams, diagnoses, treatment planning, restorative dentistry, crowns, bridges, dentures, and other general procedures.
Perform extractions, root canals, and other advanced procedures as clinically appropriate and based on comfort level.
Review patient medical and dental histories and develop personalized treatment plans.
Utilize digital imaging and practice management software to support diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation.
Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice protocols.
Follow infection control and safety standards to ensure a clean, safe, and professional clinical environment.
Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment recommendations, options, and post-operative care.
Work collaboratively with the clinical and administrative teams to deliver an efficient and comfortable patient experience.
Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Active dental license, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in the state of Indiana.
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable providing comprehensive general dentistry.
Experience with procedures such as extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, or pediatric care is a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft is preferred.
