Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Biller/Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and will handle a variety of administrative and billing responsibilities. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth daily operations, accurate medical coding, and efficient patient service. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in and check-out processes with enthusiasm.

Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and update medical records accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.

Perform detailed medical coding using DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group), CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD-9, and ICD-10 codes to ensure precise billing for dental procedures and treatments.

Review and process insurance claims efficiently, ensuring compliance with coding standards and resolving any claim denials or discrepancies promptly.

Manage accounts receivable by following up on outstanding balances through medical collections processes.

Maintain organized medical records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to privacy regulations.

Collaborate with the dental team to streamline billing workflows, improve accuracy in coding, and enhance overall office efficiency.

Qualifications
Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting with a strong background in medical billing and coding.

Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used for managing patient data and billing information.

Knowledge of medical terminology, dental procedures, and insurance processes related to dental care.

Proficiency in ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, DRG classifications, and understanding of medical records management.

Ability to perform accurate medical collection activities and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and data entry.
