Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and patient-focused Dental Billing & Front Desk Coordinator to join our growing team. This role combines front office responsibilities with dental billing and insurance coordination. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, provides exceptional customer service, and can thrive in a fast-paced dental practice.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth.
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule appointments.
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
Submit and follow up on insurance claims.
Post insurance and patient payments accurately.
Review outstanding claims, aging reports, and account balances.
Collect copays and outstanding patient balances.
Coordinate third-party financing when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment estimates and insurance benefits.
Support the front office team to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous experience in dental billing and front desk operations required.
Knowledge of dental insurance, claim submission, and payment posting.
Experience with Eaglesoft and Vyne is preferred but not required.
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
