Dental Chairside Assistant/Dental Administrator

Job Overview
We are looking for a candidate who is interested in a combo position where they will work as a Dental Chairside Assistant on some days and on others work as a Dental Administrator.

Duties
Ontario Dental Assistant experience with a valid HARP certification
Assist dentists during patient procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and sterilizing instruments - supporting other clinical staff as needed
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Abeldent
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations by maintaining a clean and organized work environment upholding all IPAC regulations
Ontario Experiene Dental Administrator / Or KEEN knowledge and willingness to learn
Manage patient check-in and check-out processes as a Dental Receptionist, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and filing insurance claims
Proficiency with dental management software including Abeldent
Excellent communication skills to serve as an effective friendly Dental Administrator and patient advocate
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and composure
