Dental Clinic Receptionist

Denwest Dental Clinic is looking for an experienced Dental Receptionist (at least one year of Canadian experience). The right candidate who shows incredible pride in their work and has a solid understanding of patient-centered care, is most welcome to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities
Greet people, help them in their admission, and direct them to operation room
Handles customer complaints with integrity and poise and, when necessary, refers dissatisfied customers to the appropriate individuals for resolution
Performs various clerical tasks which include but are not limited to typing, filing, maintaining service logs, and data entry
Receive and issue payments from insurance and patient and issue receipts to customers.

Schedule and confirm appointments
Process insurance information required for each patient
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Follow up call/email/text with patients
Maintains the housekeeping of the reception area, providing maintenance issues are reported immediately.

Has worked with dental software like Tracker
Knowing another language is an asset
Skills
Have at least one year of experience
Excellent telephone etiquette
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Knowledge and experience of basic accounting
Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal & written English) and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
Education
Dental office related Diploma or Certificated

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
