In this vital role, you will serve as a flexible team member, providing support across various clinical and administrative functions. Responsibilities
Assist with dental procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and patient setups to ensure smooth operations.
Support the front desk team as a dental receptionist by managing patient check-ins, scheduling appointments, and answering inquiries with positivity and professionalism.
Help maintain accurate patient records using dental management software such as Dentrix and Epic, ensuring confidentiality and organization.
Provide basic dental assisting duties, including sterilization of instruments, chairside support, and patient comfort measures.
Collaborate with the clinical team to manage orthodontic cases and pediatric patients, ensuring tailored care that meets individual needs.
Support the use of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for dental restorations or orthodontic planning as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Previous experience with dental software platforms such as Dentrix or Epic is highly desirable.
Experience in dental assisting or a background in dental reception is preferred; certification in dental assisting is a plus.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy practice setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for record keeping and procedural support.
