Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented Dental Floater/Receptionist to join our dental practice. This role provides essential front desk support across multiple areas of the office, ensuring smooth patient flow and efficient administrative operations. The ideal candidate will have some office experience but not necessary, will train. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where adaptability and excellent communication skills are highly valued.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems to schedule appointments, answer inquiries, and coordinate patient flow
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures, verifying patient information and updating electronic medical records
Support clinical staff by managing patient records, insurance claims, and billing processes using Maxident and MaxAssist softwares
Maintain a clean, organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Handle administrative tasks such as, data entry, and managing correspondence
Cover various roles within the office as needed, including assisting dental hygienists, dental operatory disinfection and sterilization as well as keep operatories, sterilization and all areas clean and organized
Experience
None, will train or:
Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is preferred
Familiarity with dental practice management software
Experience working with, and managing front desk operations in a healthcare environment is advantageous
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
Excellent communication skills (bilingual preferable), along with proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems,
Office experience including administrative support roles is valued
This position requires adaptability, professionalism, and a commitment to providing excellent patient service. Candidates should be comfortable working in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and efficiency.
Pay: From $19.21 per hour
