Let me be honest about most dental front desk jobs.

You give up your Saturdays. You get sent home the minute the schedule goes quiet, and your paycheck takes the hit. The "benefits" are a few days off and a health plan that costs more than it's worth. And no matter how good you are at this, somehow you're still treated like you're easy to replace.

I built Deering Dental to be the opposite of all of that.

We're a high-end functional and biomimetic practice in Palmetto Bay. Our guests come to us for their health, they value what we do, and they're a genuine pleasure to take care of. There are no insurance battles, no packed board to survive. Just a calm, beautiful office where your job is to make people feel cared for and help them say yes to the care they need.

Here's what your life actually looks like here:
$23-$25 an hour, flat. Not a base you have to build on, not a bonus you have to chase, not a number that depends on how the month went. Where you land in that range depends on one thing: how much you can do on day one. Already fluent in Open Dental and comfortable presenting treatment? You start at the top. Strong front desk background but newer to some of it? You start lower and we review at 90 days once you're running the seat on your own.

Your hours are never cut. Slow day? That's our problem, not your paycheck's. You're never sent home short.

Your weekends start early, at 2pm Friday. Monday-Thursday, plus a short Friday (8am-2pm) with no patients at all, just admin, training, and setting up the week. You will never work a Saturday.

About 5 weeks of paid time off: two paid vacations, plus holidays and personal days.

The same health plan Dr. Pinto is on herself. Not a stripped-down "employee" version. We cover 75% of the premium, and it's built so your real out-of-pocket stays low even when something serious comes up. Plus maternity leave and complimentary dental care for you.

What you'll actually do:
Run a calm, organized front desk: schedule, greet, check out, keep the day moving. And present treatment. When a guest needs a filling, a crown, Invisalign, or a sleep appliance, you'll be the one walking them through what it costs and helping them decide. Most of what you'll present runs under $8,000. It's a real part of this job, not an occasional favor, and we'll train you on how we do it.

This isn't a stepping-stone job you'll leave in a year. It's the one people come to and stay.

You've worked a dental front desk and you're genuinely good at it
You're warm, put-together, and people instinctively trust you
You're comfortable talking about money and the value of great care
You do what you say you'll do, without anyone chasing you

You need weekend or evening hours
You're brand new to dentistry. We'll train, but not from scratch
Quoting a treatment fee makes you nervous
"Good enough" is your standard
