Job Description

Our dental practice in Baltimore County is committed to promoting patient health and inspiring confidence through compassionate, high-quality care. We provide general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign in a modern, welcoming office. Our mission is to create loyal patients by serving them beyond their dental needs, guided by values of integrity, compassion, and teamwork. We cultivate a professional, fun workplace where team members treat each other with kindness, saying "please" and "thank you," and thrive in a supportive environment that feels like a "stage" for collaboration and care. We're seeking a Dental Receptionist who shares our dedication to excellence and teamwork to join our close-knit team.

Job Summary Join our mission-driven practice as a Dental Receptionist — the first and last impression our patients experience. You'll be the welcoming face and voice of our office, managing the front desk with warmth and professionalism while keeping our scheduling and administrative operations running smoothly. This role is central to our goal of exceeding patient expectations from the moment they walk in the door.

Key Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly in person and by phone, creating a welcoming first impression that reflects our culture of compassion and care.

Manage scheduling, appointments, confirmations, and recalls to keep the practice running efficiently.

Verify dental insurance benefits, process claims, and handle billing and co-pay collection with accuracy and professionalism.

Educate patients on treatment plans, financing options, and next steps, serving them beyond their immediate needs.

Collaborate with clinical team members, acknowledging contributions with a "happy to do it" attitude and fostering mutual respect.

Identify front-desk challenges and propose solutions — including cost-free options — to support a proactive team dynamic.

Follow through on patient communications and follow up to ensure satisfaction and encourage loyalty and referrals.

Bring enthusiasm to create a fun, professional environment, leaving personal baggage at the door.

Arrive early, groomed, and ready to set the tone for the entire team's day.

Qualifications
Prior dental front office experience strongly preferred — familiarity with dental terminology, insurance, and scheduling is a must.

Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar).

Strong phone presence and interpersonal communication skills.

Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

A warm, patient-first attitude that aligns with our culture of compassion and integrity.

Experience with insurance verification and billing preferred.

Why Join Us?

If you're looking for a front office role where you're truly valued — not just a voice on the phone — this is it.

We offer a consistent Monday–Thursday schedule, 8:00am–5:00pm, with every Friday off and no weekends, no rotating shifts, and no surprises. You'll always know exactly when you're working so you can plan your life outside of work too.

Beyond the schedule, you'll be joining a close-knit, mission-driven team that genuinely enjoys coming to work. We're a modern, well-equipped practice offering general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign — and we take our culture as seriously as our clinical care. We say "please" and "thank you," we have each other's backs, and we don't bring drama through the door.

You'll be compensated competitively at $22–$28 per hour based on your experience, because we believe great people deserve to be paid like it.

If you take pride in running a tight, welcoming front desk, love building relationships with patients, and want to grow with a practice that actually invests in its team — we'd love to meet you.
