Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Patient Coordinator to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and medical record management. Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly, answer multi-line phone systems, and provide exceptional patient service with professional phone etiquette and clear communication.

Schedule appointments efficiently using the Dentrix dental office management software , ensuring optimal clinic flow.

Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare and other private plans.

Manage patient intake processes, including collecting medical history forms, updating electronic health records (EHR systems), and reviewing documentation for accuracy.

Maintain accurate dental and medical records by filing paper documents and updating electronic files in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Assist with insurance claims processing by understanding CPT coding, and dental billing procedures to ensure timely reimbursements.

Support clinic administrative functions such as data entry using Microsoft Office tools, dental coding review, and appointment reminders to enhance operational efficiency.

Skills
Proven experience in dental front desk operations with strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental administrative support.

Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix.

Ability to handle insurance verification processes accurately and efficiently while understanding CPT coding, and Medicare requirements.

Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and multi-line phone system proficiency.

Strong computer skills including typing (10 key typing), Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), and health information management software.

Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records.

Pay: $24.11 - $29.04 per hour
