Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our vibrant dental team. You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative and clinical support tasks.
Duties
Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Open Dental software
Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinate patient flow, and manage calendar updates with proficiency in medical scheduling software.
Collect and process payments and copayments
Review and update patient medical records ensuring accuracy and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Handle phone communication with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing patient inquiries or appointment requests.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a dental clinic environment with strong clerical skills.
Familiarity with Open Dental
Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual abilities are a plus
Prior dental clinic experience is preferred
Understanding of clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA is essential for safeguarding patient information.
