Job Overview
We are a small, down-to-earth, and professional office located in Fanwood, NJ, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Front Desk staff to join our team. Hourly wage is based on type and length of experience. Must have great attention to detail, be very organized, and motivated to grow. Our ideal candidate should have a very friendly, warm and upbeat personality. Someone who has great interpersonal skills and who enjoys cultivating relationships with staff and patients. You should be capable of prioritizing, multi-tasking, and handling multiple phone lines, and exude a very positive image of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
- Verify patient insurance information and collect payments from patients on a daily basis and sending out monthly billing statements
-Sending claims to insurance companies and calling insurance companies to follow-up on claims as well as denials
- Collecting information from new patients and adding them to dental system.
- Calling in prescriptions for patients and referring them to other doctors or specialists when needed
- Perform general office duties such as filing, faxing, and data entry
Requirements:
- Proven experience in private practice as medical administrative support or as a Front Desk Receptionist
- Familiarity with medical terminology and dental receptionist procedures
- Proficiency in using Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar patient management software
- Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively
- Knowledge of administrative tasks and office procedures
Pay: From $30.00 per hour
