Job Description
Smile N Shine Family Dental is a modern, family-oriented dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care in a warm, welcoming environment. We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Front Desk / Patient Care Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients and help create an outstanding patient experience.

Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and create a positive first impression.
Answer phones and schedule appointments efficiently.
Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients.
Check patients in and out.
Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements.
Collect co-pays and process payments.
Maintain accurate patient records using Open Dental.
Coordinate the daily schedule to maximize efficiency.
Confirm appointments and manage recalls.
Communicate professionally with patients, specialists, and insurance companies.
Support the clinical team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Previous dental front office experience preferred.
Experience using Open Dental is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of dental insurance, PPO verification, and treatment coordination.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mindset.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
