About Arguello Dentistry
Arguello Dentistry is a two-location private general dentistry practice in Margate and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and our patients have given us a long list of 5-star Google reviews. Those reviews come from a team that communicates well, supports each other, and takes pride in how patients are cared for from the moment they call to the moment they leave.
We're looking for a front office professional who wants more than a job. We want someone who wants to build a career, grow their skills, and be part of a team that holds itself to a high standard.
Why This Role Is Different
Our front desk isn't just a check-in counter. It's central to the clinical, financial and patient experience of the practice. You'll learn scheduling strategy, insurance, treatment coordination and practice operations. That makes this position a real foundation for advancement as you grow with us.
Experience
Medical office experience is required.
Dental office experience is strongly preferred. If you come from a medical office and bring the right attitude, professionalism and willingness to learn, we will train you in dental scheduling, insurance and treatment coordination.
What You'll Do
Patient experience
Greet patients warmly and professionally, in person and by phone and text
Maintain a clean, organized and welcoming front office
Uphold the patient experience that earned our 5-star reputation
Scheduling
Manage the daily schedule with attention to appointment lengths, provider time and flow
Build a productive schedule, not just a full one
Identify openings and take initiative to fill them
Insurance and financials
Verify insurance benefits and clearly explain patient financial responsibility
Collect payments and confidently discuss financial options
Treatment coordination and follow-up
Present and coordinate treatment plans with patients
Follow up consistently on unscheduled treatment, recalls and reactivation
Teamwork and accountability
Prepare for and actively participate in the daily morning huddle
Communicate closely with doctors, hygienists and assistants throughout the day
Help with opening and closing duties
Keep accurate patient records and documentation
Follow through on your responsibilities without needing reminders, and speak up promptly when something needs attention
Pitch in wherever the team needs you
Who You Are
A professional who takes pride in how you present yourself and how you treat patients
Organized, detail-oriented and dependable, with a track record of following through
Punctual and accountable
Confident and friendly on the phone and in person
Calm and solution-focused in a busy environment
A team player who sees helping others as part of the job
Proactive: you look ahead to what needs to happen next instead of waiting to be told
Coachable and eager to keep learning
Comfortable working at both our Margate and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea offices
Bilingual English/Spanish required. Fluency required.
Experience with Open Dental or another practice management system is a plus
What We Offer
A supportive, professional team with a strong reputation in the community
Hands-on training and ongoing skill development
Room to grow: we invest in team members who show initiative and want to take on more
Quarterly team bonuses and additional performance incentives
Compensation based on experience
