Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth daily operations. Your responsibilities will include managing patient communications, scheduling appointments, and handling dental insurance processes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental software, and a strong understanding of dental insurance procedures.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming environment.
Answer phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and scheduling appointments.
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using dental software to optimize the daily calendar.
Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, payments, and filing paperwork related to patient care.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth office operations and excellent patient experience.
Stay informed about updates in dental software systems and insurance policies to provide accurate assistance.
Requirements
Prior experience in a front desk or administrative role within a dental or healthcare setting is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
Excellent phone communication skills with the ability to handle multiple calls efficiently.
Knowledge of dental software systems is highly desirable.
Understanding of dental insurance procedures and billing processes.
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills including familiarity with common office applications.
