Dental Front Desk Receptionist

Precious Smiles Family Dentistry is seeking an experienced and friendly Dental Receptionist to join our team! We are a patient-centered, family-oriented dental office focused on providing compassionate care in a welcoming environment.

Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of dental front office experience, with a strong understanding of dental insurance processes. You will be responsible for verifying eligibility and benefits, completing verbal verifications, submitting and following up on insurance claims, and delivering excellent customer service. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits (PPO plans)
Conduct verbal insurance verifications and enter accurate data
Submit insurance claims and attachments in a timely manner
Track claim status and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and care
Collect co-pays and explain treatment estimates
Answer phones and respond to patient inquiries promptly
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental office front desk role
Proficient in dental insurance verification and claims processing
Strong communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask
Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented
Bilingual – fluent in Spanish and English
