Job Description
Dental Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator (Experienced Only)
High-performing private dental office – Long Island, NY
We’re not looking for a “receptionist.”
We’re hiring a front desk professional who can control a schedule, communicate value, and drive case acceptance.
If you’re confident discussing treatment, comfortable handling money, and know how to keep a day productive and organized—we want to talk.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Managing a productive, goal-driven schedule (not just filling holes)
Insurance verification and breakdowns (accuracy matters)
Presenting treatment and discussing financial options confidently
Collecting payments and managing accounts receivable
Handling high call volume and converting inquiries into appointments
Keeping patients informed, on time, and under control—even on busy days
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 2+ years dental front desk experience (required)
Strong knowledge of insurance (PPOs, breakdowns, estimates)
Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.)
Comfortable discussing fees and collecting payments
Ability to stay calm, organized, and assertive under pressure
Excellent communication skills—friendly but in control
What Sets You Apart
You don’t avoid money conversations
You know how to turn a phone call into a booked appointment
You take ownership of the schedule and the day
You can handle difficult patients without escalating situations
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly pay based on experience ($25–$32/hr)
Bonus opportunities tied to office performance
Paid time off and holidays
Supportive, team-oriented environment
Why This Position Matters
This role directly impacts patient experience, doctor productivity, and office revenue.
We value professionalism, accountability, and people who take pride in running the front of the office the right way.
How to Apply
Please include:
A brief summary of your dental front desk experience
The software systems you’ve used
A short answer to this question:
“How do you handle a patient who hesitates to schedule due to cost?”
We’re looking for someone who wants to be part of a strong, efficient office—not just fill a seat.
If that’s you, apply today.
Pay: $22.00 - $32.00 per hour
Benefits:
Dental insurance
Experience:
Dental receptionist: 2 years (Required)
Work Location: In person
