Job Description

Camarillo, CA | $23–$32/hour | Full-time, Monday–Friday
Medical, dental & vision 401(k) retirement plan Bonus opportunities Fridays end at 2:30
A busy day. A welcoming team. A place for your experience to shine.

You remember the patient’s name. You catch the insurance detail that needs a second look. And when the phone rings while someone is checking in, you know how to keep things moving without making either person feel rushed.

If that sounds like you, we’d love to meet you.

Our growing, wellness-focused private dental practice is looking for an experienced Front Office Administrator who enjoys a lively workday, takes pride in getting the details right, and brings warmth and personality to patient care.

Why consider our practice?

Your experience matters here. We’re looking for someone who enjoys taking initiative, uses good judgment, and follows through. You’ll have opportunities to contribute your skills and continue learning.

Your time matters, too. We offer a consistent weekday schedule, shorter Fridays, and paid time off so you can recharge. You won’t be asked to clock out because there’s a gap in the patient schedule.

There’s room for personality. We appreciate friendly conversation, a sense of humor, and the ability to put people at ease. We build patient relationships through thoughtful service and personal attention.

You can feel proud of the care you support. Our PPO and fee-for-service practice offers advanced dentistry, including laser treatments, implants, therapeutic Botox for TMD, and sleep apnea testing and treatment. We also give back through pro bono care and support for local teams and charitable causes.

What you’ll take care of
A warm welcome: Greet patients, assist with check-in and check-out, and help each person feel comfortable and informed.

A well-managed schedule: Coordinate appointments, referrals, and follow-up visits while responding thoughtfully to changes.

Clear communication: Handle calls, texts, and emails with professionalism, personality, and timely follow-through.

Accurate insurance and accounts: Verify benefits, create and update insurance plans, assist with billing and payments, and understand patient ledger balances.

The details behind great service: Keep patient records accurate, close the loop on outstanding tasks, and coordinate with the clinical team throughout the day.

You’ll thrive here if you…
Have at least two years of dental front office experience.

Enjoy a fast-paced environment and can shift priorities while staying accurate and approachable.

Notice discrepancies, ask thoughtful questions, and finish what you start.

Communicate comfortably with patients about scheduling, insurance, and payments.

Bring confidence, kindness, and a helpful attitude to your work.

Work independently and recognize when a teammate could use a hand.

Required skills: Dental terminology, CDT coding, dental insurance billing, patient ledgers, strong typing skills, and comfort with practice management software.

Especially helpful: Experience with Dentrix Ascend or Weave, or cross-training as a dental assistant.
