Dental Front Office Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dental Front Office Associate to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate MUST HAVE DENTAL EXPERIENCE and will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing front desk operations, insurance verifications, and dental billing processes. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in dental office systems, and a strong understanding of healthcare documentation and coding. The position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where patient service and administrative support are paramount.

Duties
Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional front desk customer service
Schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Dentrix
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare, and private insurers
Review patient documentation for accuracy and completeness in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Collect payments, co-pays, and outstanding balances; handle dental collections as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation review for billing purposes
Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries
Support office management tasks including filing, organizing dental records, and maintaining office supplies
Assist with intake procedures for new patients and coordinate care plans in collaboration with clinical staff
Stay updated on dental terminology to ensure precise billing and documentation
