Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and dependable Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate has previous dental front office experience and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service while helping create a welcoming experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients with professionalism and warmth.
Answer incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments.
Verify dental insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients.
Check patients in and out, collect payments, and process financial transactions.
Coordinate the daily schedule to maximize efficiency.
Present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements when needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the practice management software.
Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and team members.
Assist with recall, confirmations, and patient follow-up.
Qualifications
Previous experience working at the front desk of a dental office is required.
Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix).
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and claims.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing patient finances.
Experience with digital forms and electronic patient records
