Dental Front Office Specialist

Seeking a motivated and outgoing Front Office Specialist. Primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, checking patients in and out, collecting patient financial responsibility, and directing calls to appropriate staff on a daily basis.

Welcomes and directs patients upon arrival to the practice.

Gathers and enters patient demographic including insurance information and place in the PMS/EMR.

Identifies non-contracted insurance plan and effectively communicate with patient at the time of scheduling.

Scans all pertinent documents into the EMR including but not limited to patient forms, identification, and insurance card(s).

Monitors patient schedule daily to allow smooth practice and great patient experience.

Works in conjunction with the business office staff to ensure clean billing.

Schedules follow-up appointments at the point of check-in.

Maintains a clean lobby at all times.

Maintains confidentiality and adhere to the HIPAA and PHI regulations/guidelines.

Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
