Job Summary
Northern Vermont Dental Care is looking for a Hygiene Assistant to join our growing dental team!
Our office is passionate about proactive, comprehensive dental care and helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident in their treatment options.

Responsibilities
Seat and prepare patients for hygiene appointments
Review and document changes to patients' medical histories
Take dental X-rays and maintain appropriate radiographic documentation
Assist the hygienist with patient care and room turnover
Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for appointments
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and treatment areas
Follow OSHA, infection control, and office safety protocols
Maintain organized and well-stocked hygiene operatories
Communicate effectively with hygienists, dental assistants, doctors, and front office staff
Provide a welcoming and professional experience for every patient
Assist with other clinical and office duties as needed
Skills
Current X-ray certification required'
Previous dental experience strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization
Positive attitude and willingness to work as a team
Strong communications skills
