Summary of Position:
Assistants work within the Dental Hygiene sterilization area.
Position Requirements:
Prefer someone that is going into dental hygiene field.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Autoclaves for proper sterilization of dental instruments
Stocking supplies
Assisting students in the clinic areas with proper sterile techniques and all supplies needed before, during and after patient treatment
Keeping all clinical areas clean.
Knowledge of OSHA
Filing of MSDS Sheets
Understanding of blood borne pathogens
