Salary starting at $102,000
This is a full-time contracted position requiring at least a two-year agreement.
Under the guidance of the Dentist, support dental care to patients through preventative dental care and patient education while also serving at the department's academic liaison.

Essential Duties / Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for coordinating appropriate preventative treatment modalities with the assistance of the Dentist for adults and pediatric patients.
Responsible for obtaining an accurate health history and updates at every visit.
Responsible for charting existing periodontal conditions in the Electronic Dental Chart.
Responsible for recording patient’s BP on every visit.
Responsible for removing calcareous deposits above and below the gingival margin of teeth.
Responsible for providing the appropriate in-office and home fluoride regimens under the guidance of the Dentist.
Responsible for maintaining recall system and reminder postcards.
Responsible for applying sealants to teeth as directed by the Dentist.
Responsible for completing dental progress notes following preventative treatment.
Responsible for ensuring the appropriate dental instruments are available for each preventive procedure.
Responsible for partnering with local college dental hygiene programs to strengthen reputation
Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean working environment per OSHA guidelines and adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
Responsible for assisting other departments of the organization including front desk, medical, behavioral health, and management to ensure proper workflow process.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene Program required
Dental Hygienist license in the State of Ohio required
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Preset a positive and professional attitude
Planning and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to identify problems and to propose feasible solutions
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to enter and maintain data in various company software programs.
Knowledge of company’s policies and procedures.
Knowledge of modern office equipment, troubleshooting, practices, and procedures.
Interpersonal/human relations skills
Proficient telephone skills
Time Management
Attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Sitting in a normal seated position for extended periods of time
Reaching by extending hand(s) or arm(s) in any direction
Finger dexterity required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard
