Position Summary
The Dental Hygienist plays a critical role in delivering outstanding patient care by providing licensed hygiene services, educating patients, and leading the non-surgical periodontal program in partnership with the doctor. This role is perfect for a hygienist who values excellence, efficiency, and meaningful patient relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with patients
Review, verify, and document patient health histories
Educate patients on oral health, disease prevention, and recommended treatments
Perform clinical hygiene procedures including:
Diagnostic digital X-rays
Blood pressure screening
Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
Non-surgical periodontal therapy
Co-diagnosis of restorative treatment with the doctor
Assess patient needs and provide sealants, Arestin, and fluoride treatments as appropriate
Help create a positive, comfortable, and high-energy patient experience every day
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Current dental hygiene license in the state of employment
Active OSHA, HIPAA, BLS, and infection control certifications
Comfortable working with modern dental software and digital workflows
Passion for patient care, teamwork, and continuous growth
