We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during their visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining good dental health.
Educate patient about their pending treatment.
Take dental X-rays as needed.
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the electronic health record system.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols.
Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient records efficiently.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Manage dental records and documentation review with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and accurate dental coding.
Experience
A degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program is required.
At least 2 year experience working as a full time Hygienist is required.
Knowledge of dental terminology is essential for effective communication with the dental team and patients.
Familiarity with Cleardent or similar dental software is a plus.
Strong customer service skills are essential for creating a positive patient experience.
