Compensation & Schedule
$50–$65 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Full-time position
4 or 5 days per week
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
No evenings or weekends
Responsibilities
Provide preventive dental hygiene care, including scaling, root planing, polishing, and fluoride treatments
Take and interpret dental radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene and disease prevention
Accurately document patient histories and treatment notes using Dentrix or similar software
Apply sealants and other preventive agents as needed
Maintain infection prevention and sterilization protocols
Monitor and maintain dental instruments and equipment
Build strong relationships with patients and promote long-term oral health
Qualifications
Current RDH license in Ontario
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
CPR certification
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is an asset
Knowledge of procedure codes and insurance billing is an asset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
