Job Overview
Perry Family Dentistry is looking for a registered dental hygienist who can provide an extraordinary experience for our patients for our growing office. We are a well-established, private practice that offers a competitive salary with a great benefits package including bonuses, in office dental benefits and profit sharing to name a few. FREE NEW HIGH-QUALITY LOUPES or a $750.00 bonus with 90 day continued employment! We are seeking someone with strong interpersonal skills who can educate and advocate for our patients. Excellent time management, ability to work independently within a team environment, and willingness to learn continuously are necessary qualifications. Please note that we will follow-up within two weeks of any interests received.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing of teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Maintain accurate medical records and document all patient interactions in compliance with clinic protocols.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric dental care by providing age-appropriate education and treatment.
Collaborate with dentists to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Experience
Proven experience in general dentistry is preferred, with a strong focus on patient care.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental practices is essential.
Experience working within a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of systems related to patient assessment and record management is a plus.
Aseptic technique proficiency is required to maintain safety standards within the clinic.
