Job Overview
Thornbury Dental is looking for a part-time hygienist. The ideal candidate should enjoy an office where health care is a priority and not monthly targets. Our office is flexible and understands work life balance.
Responsibilities
Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct initial patient assessments and review medical histories to identify any contraindications or special needs
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) using appropriate aseptic techniques
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to prevent cross-contamination
