Job Description
Rapides Primary Health Care Center is providing great care to the populace and is looking for more associates!We are looking for a Dental Hygienist who primary job is to prevent and treat gum disease and promote oral health by cleaning teeth, educating patients on oral hygiene, and performing screening for oral health issues.
Responsibilities:
· Provide oral hygiene education. .
· Provide scaling and polishing. .
· Provide oral health screenings. .
· Take X-rays. .
· Apply preventive treatments. .
· Document patient care in the medical record. .
· Review dental and health history. .
Requirements:
· Graduated from an accredited dental hygiene program.
· At a minimum an associate’s degree which include classroom coursework and supervised clinical experience. .
· Passed the National Board of Dental Hygiene Examination. .
Possess a Louisiana licensure as a dental hygienist. .
