Dental Hygienist

Overview

Hours are 9am- 6pm : Mondays and /or Tuesdays
Minimum 5 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Take digital dental radiographs as needed
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations
Maintain accurate patient records
Ensure a sterile and organized work environment in compliance with infection control protocols
Support patient comfort and address their concerns with professionalism and empathy
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements
Valid Dental Hygienist license in good standing
Prior experience with AbelDent or similar dental software preferred
Experience in dental assisting or general dental office operations is beneficial
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety
Pay: $53.00-$58.00 per hour
