Job Summary
As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional patient care in our dynamic dental practice. You will be responsible for performing thorough dental cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene practices, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. What you’ll do
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during examinations.
Document patient medical histories, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Utilize dental terminology to communicate effectively with team members and patients regarding treatment options.
Maintain infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for all.
Review documentation and medical records to support accurate medical coding and billing processes.
Basic qualifications
Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and infection control practices.
Experience with efficient patient management.
Proficient in medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnostic procedures.
Preferred qualifications
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
