Job Summary
Join our dental team as a Dental Hygienist at Florence Dental Clinic. In this energetic and rewarding position, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, assist with patient assessments, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct Dental imaging procedures like X-rays with precision, ensuring proper technique and safety protocols.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster lifelong healthy habits.
Review and update medical records accurately using Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Document treatment details thoroughly, review documentation for accuracy, and assist with dental coding for billing purposes.
Collaborate with the dental team on patient assessments, treatment planning, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the practice
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Proven experience (preferred) in dental office environments, including familiarity with dental assisting procedures and terminology.
Proficiency in Dentrix is highly preferred.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures.
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
