NEW GRADUATES ARE WELCOME! ADT STUDENTS ARE WELCOME! **We have received grant funds from the State of Minnesota that may be available to help with tuition assistance, up to $6,000 per year!
At North Mankato Family Dentistry we take pride in treating our patients with the latest dental technology. Our hygienists are able to select their own instruments and chairs and are provided ultrasonics and Diode laser for patient care. We are open to part-time or full-time hours.
Salary will commensurate with experience. Our hygienists are paid based on a base plus production model. Unlock your earning potential with us!
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing.
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and reviewing medical records to ensure safe treatment planning.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical record (EMR) system Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Experience
NEW GRADUATES WELCOME! ADT STUDENTS ARE WELCOME!
Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy and infection control protocols.
Familiarity with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft for documentation review and record keeping.
Strong understanding of general dentistry procedures, patient care principles and dentistry best practices.
Prior experience with medical imaging and vital signs measurement
Ability to work efficiently using aseptic techniques while maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.
